-- Winter storm hits the midwest. Although we were not the hardest hit area this year, we were snowbound for a week. Many towns close to us were declared disaster areas with large spread power outages as trees fell on electric lines and eletric poles snapped under the weight of up to an inch of ice. Still, the ice and snow had a beauty all it's own.
