Picture of Queen Alexandra Hospital Relief
-- A bronze relief showing Queen Alexandra and her husband King Edward VII visiting patients, doctors and nurses at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, East London. The bronze sculpture was erected in 1908 and has been on public display ever since. Viewed from a public pavement, an inscription on behalf of the hospital reads that Queen Alexandra "always took a personal and sympathetic interest in its work and who in 1900 introduced to england the Finsen Light Cure for Lupus and presented the first lamp to this hospital".
