Photo of Ornithogalum Dubium Group

-- To show how prolific the orange stars (Ornithogalum dubium, family Liliaceae) cna grow in spring, I included this picture of a large group of them. Usually they grow singly with stalks bearing three, perhaps five, flowers. They are invariably orange, but here and there, yellow forms will appear among the orange flowers.
