Rich color saturation, variety in texture and shadow detail all bring a mysterious quality to this woodsy print. At first the eye is drawn to the focal point of the restful deers in their cozy mossy bed and all seems quite contented. But the plot thickens as a large mountain lion is discovered lurking in the shadows just above them.
