-- Duwisib Castle was built in 1909 by Captain Heinrich von Wolf in an arid semi-desert area in Southern Namibia. It was designed to resemble a German fort, and was built from red sandstone and other materials brought from Germany. Today it belongs to the Namibian state and houses a museum.
