#I2331992:

Picture of Corn Exchange, Bristol

-- The historic Corn Exchange in the city of Bristol. An historic sandstone building, built during the Georgian era in 1741 by the architect John Wood the Elder. Note that the clock in the middle of the building has two minute hands, these were used to show the time in London and the time in Bristol. Bristol was several minutes behind the more westerly capital city and the times didn't converge until the railways were more commonly used.
