-- Detail of a coat of arms painted in 1803 by an anonymous artist. The coat of arms forms part of a hatchment - used to decorate a church during the funeral of an important figure. This hatchment was painted for Lieutenant Colonel Henry William Toovey Hawley of Hampshire. He commanded the First Dragoon guards and died in 1803. The Coat of arms is on public display at St Mary's Church, Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.
