Image of Caracal Cat
-- A Caracal cat eyes intently a bird resting nearby. These cats are thought to be a subspecies of lynx, and found throughout Africa and some parts of India. They are bird hunters, able to leap and catch a bird in low flight. Incredibly graceful and streamlined, these cats hunt game larger then they are, which is unusual for a small statured cat they use the throat bite technique to suffocate and subdue larger prey such as small antelope .
