-- Botos Lagoon is an extinct volcanic crater filled by rainwater. It still countains traces of acidity due to its origin. Only a few microorganisms and algae can live in it. Its name derives from an indigenous tribe that used to live near to the lagoon called "the botos". Diameter: 400 meteres. Depth: 14 meters.
