There's more than meets the eye in this sandy, sea side portrait of a sun soaked sea gull taking flight from it's earthbound resting place. While the atmosphere is saturated with a cheerful sense of morning sunlight (or is it the setting sun?), a closer look will reveal another dimension to this cheery scene. In the diffused shadows of the sun-lit sea oats lies the lifeless shape of a fellow sea gull, or is it the discarded body of one born again? "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new." - II Corinthians 5:17
