Picture of Baby Pine Cones

-- Two newly formed pine cones grow nestled among a pine tree’s bright green needles. The pine cone on the left appears to be more developed than the one on the right. It clearly looks like a pine cone, while the right one looks more like a large bud. The pine cones are both a light brown color and sit right in the middle of the green pine needles. The ends on the needles where the pine cones are growing are wrapped in a bark-like protective covering. A slightly out of focus pine needles can be seen in the forefront. A few brown pine needles are in the background.
