-- A misty mountain stream flowing through a deep green mossy forest - June 2006. Patty and I were mystified (pardon the pun) by Avalanche Gorge, a misty little mountain stream which spends all its time pounding through an ancient moss-covered rock gorge in the Rocky Mountains. The rich green coloration of this rugged landscape is amazing in its texture variety and depth of color. Avalanche Gorge can be found at the end of an inspiring little half mile hike at Glacier National Park, Montana.
