-- Aloe plicatillis (the tree aloe) is closely related to A.ferox, but unlike ferox it is not medicinal (as far as I know). It also flowers from late autumn to early winter. This particular specimen grows in the Karoo Botanical Garden although it also grows wild in the Breede valley.
