 Hi, I am a full time professional designer, with a degree in Illustration and design. My photography kicked of many years ago as part of my degree course. In those days the norm was shooting film along with many hours in the dark room. These days my fulltime profession makes it easier for me to develop the darkroom side of being a digital photographer, as I spend many hours perfecting my post processing skills in the digital dark room that is photoshop and painter. I love to take portraiture/ lifestyle images as well as dramatic landscapes. I always look out for unusual lighting, angles and situations, hoping for that perfect frame!
Colour, and the relationships of light and dark, play key roles in my appreciation of art and photography. My hero is the enigmatic Ansell Adams (as just about everybody elses as well!) who used black and white film to perfection. I can only hope to one day capture a frame worthy of the great man himself...we can all dream!
