-- 12 inch Sea Coast Mortar, Model 1890-M1. On display at Fort De Soto Florida. Installed to defend the Harbor of Tampa from Spanish invasion but never fired on the enemy. Fort De Soto is the only remaining place in the continental United States where these mortars can be seen, the only other place in the world is on the island of Corregidor in the Philippines.
