This lovely carousel component allows you to view a series of images. The
forward and back buttons allows you to navigate through the images.
The original version of the script was written by Bill Scott and
has the same name:
Carousel.
The original version uses
The Yahoo! User Interface (YUI) Library.
Sébastien Gruhier's (aka Mr Proto)
Carousel Class doesn't use YUI JS classes, and the library is licensed
under an MIT-style license, so you can use it for anything you like, as long as
you include the copyright notice. The current version supports both static and
Ajax content.
Sébastien has added a fancy fading in and out effect to make the gallery even
more attractive.
You can find the detailed instructions on how to implement the script and css
at

You can easily customize css, so your Carousel has a different look and feel.
Navigation buttons - of course, you will be able to use your own. You need
to just save your images under the same names.
