: View of a grave marker found at the Kildalton Cross and chapel, Islay, Scotland. The marker probably represents one of the Lords of the Isles or member of a family who served him in a special capacity. The cross is 8th century and represents one of the finest examples from this period found anywhere in Britain. Scenes on the cross depict 4 lions, the virgin and child, Cain murdering Abel, the sacrifice of Isaac and David killing the lion. Larger size available. 300 dpi
