detailed description
: The Council Island of the Lord of the Isles was reached by means of a stone causeway just under the surface of the water. Excavations have revealed an iron age and Dunand which was replaced in the 12th century by a castle. In the 14th century, a council chamber was built where the Lord of the Isles and his advisors met to form policy. Larger size available. 300 dpi
