Is your web site ready for spring? |
New York fashion designers are flourishing in a season of new beginnings, using surprising neutrals with innovative splashes of corals, yellows and purples to create a spring in bloom.
Tarragon is the freshly cut stem to the blossoming shades of sweet Strawberry Ice, warm Golden Apricot and violet-infused Hollyhock.
Cafe Creme is the rich, creamy contrast to the serenity of calming Sky Blue or the deliciousness of refreshing Grapemist.
The yellow glow of gleaming Green Sheen and the blushing beauty of diaphanous Silver Peony reflect the infusion of life brought by spring.

As I mentioned already - I used PhotoShop to convert PANTONE colors to HTML values.
Also I have Color Cop sitting in the corner of my screen whatever I do.
It is a very small application, and easy to use. You just click and drag the eyedropper anywhere on the screen to select a color.
My favorite option there is a Complimentary color palette (42 colors).
I pick a color, and the Color Cop helps me to find the color I want to add to my palette (Complement colors are generated on the fly) .
| But!!! If you have a site that targets designers, publishers, or other "color" professionals, or if your are showing artwork for print - it would be better to double adjust these values using standard tools. If you are in this type of industry - I am sure you know what to do.
But just in case:
http://www.pantone.com/pages/pantone/colorfinder.aspx - find a Pantone color
Colorist - Version 2.0 features the latest sRGB, Adobe RGB (1998) and HTML values for the coated, uncoated and matte libraries.
You can specify PANTONE Colors within:
Adobe Photoshop Elements Microsoft FrontPage and PowerPoint version Office v. X Apple KeyNote Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash&153; and Fireworks Plus, any application that accesses the Windows System Color Picker or Mac OS X color picker.
And, as you know of course, it's the coated sRGB color space that you'll want to use for reference on the web. |
| Let's stay with standard monitor color space for the World Wide Web (This is known as sRGB) and try to "intuitively" illustrate these new spring fashion colors by FeaturePics.com images. | | You can click on an Image to enlarge it. |
