June 11-17, 2007 - DESIGN WEEK IN SAN FRANCISCO.
San Francisco mayor, Gavin Newsom, has once again declared June 11-17 as Design
Makes a Difference Week in San Francisco.
AIGA SF will be sponsoring a full
week of events and an exhibit highlighting the diversity and professionalism of
the design community.
1. June 11-27, 2007
Curated by Erik Spiekermann and Jan Middendorp, FiFFteen is an exhibit
celebrating the 15th anniversary of the FontFont [FF] type library. The
exhibition reveals the far-reaching influence of FontFont's library of over
3,000 fonts.

2. JUNE 11 | 5:30 PM
Tom Kundig and Allison Arieff are discussing discuss the direction of
architecture in the not so distant future.
3. JUNE 13 | 7:00 PM & 10:00 PM
Helvetica, a documentary film by Gary Hustwit, is a feature-length independent
film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture.

Design Matters Live: Elliott Earls
AIGA SF and Adobe will present the second event in a four-part series
discussing the issues and concerns facing the design community today.
