 Controlled Burning
A series of color photos of two Macon County Conservation Department (IL, U.S.A.) doing a "controlled burn" to burn off dead grass and make way for the prairie to renew itself. They use a "burn pot" to start the fire and then closely watch the burning to make sure it doesn't get out of control and endanger close by farm ground and homes. |
