I live and work in Scotland where the landscape and ever changing weather continue to inspire me. I also have travelled extensively with my camera. My hobby is painting with acrylics so I look at the world with an artist's composing eye.
I have a Pentax K100D which I use with a super Tamron zoom lens. I have a Minolta Dimage Z1 as backup. I still have my 35mm film equipment based on a Pentax ME Super body and various lenses. One of may favourite cameras is a tiny Rollei range-finder 35mm camera that was really pocket size yet got fantastic results. But I try not to get too hung up on equipment - a good photograph comes from the eye of the one who first sees it and the best equipment helps realise that dream - nothing more. If you don't have that eye then with the best equipment in the world will not get you stunning shots.
