I am just getting started in photography and love taking nature images, particularly with my new macro lens!

At the moment all images are taken with a Canon 350D. I have just upgraded to a new lens from the standard ones that you get with the camera. My hope is to be able to afford to purchase some good lenses in the future.

My philosophy about digital photos is simple: I do not add/subtract things to an image. The most post processing I will do is to crop or change exposure/white balance/contrast etc slightly to try and match what I saw at the time. I believe that to add/remove parts of an image basically creates digital artwork (and is perfectly valid) rather than a digital photograph.
