I have been involved in photography in some way or another for the past half century. My first camera was a Kodak Brownie box camera that I took everywhere with me, starting when I was five or six. I loved seeing those images when they came back from the drug store - even the blurry ones and the occasional double exposure. I filled albums with pictures of my friends and family and my vision of my world - everyday activities as well as special events. While not all were exactly stellar as far as composition and lighting, those images are priceless to my family now as documentation of days gone by. I studied photojournalism at the University of Missouri and have worked as a newspaper photographer. Today I use a Canon 30d with various lenses and seem to be still recording my vision of my world.
