I work as an IT Professional and do a reasonable amount of photography and website design and management part time.

With the DSLR reaching a reasonable price-point a few years ago I ganed a renewed interst in Photography. My Primary Cameras are Olympus E300 4/3 with their excellent range of "made for digital" Lenses that no other system currently has.

I always try to capture the best possible image in camera and do the absolute minimal amount of PP on them. But, at times, taking a good picture and processing it somewhat turns that good photo into a Great one. I normally only devote time to processing if I plan to get it printed.

First and foremost, I take photos for myself, and sometimes the photos I take are of sufficient quality and content that they may be useful to others. I like to take photos of challenging subjects that will teach me more of the art. Most of the time, an Image is all about learning how to do it better, sometimes I need to try again and at other times, I surprise myself and take some great photos.

One of my favourite sayings is - Never let school get in the way of your education
