I started out as an underwater photographer, which is a bit of an odd way to start, but I wanted to show the beauty of the underwater world. Underwater because of the area I dive in I shoot mostly macro photography, capturing invertebrates close up.
Later on I expanded to include nature photography in my native British Columbia, Canada. I still am partial to macro photography and the patterns and shapes in nature.
A few years ago I switch to digital for above water photography but I still use a trusty Nikon Nikonos V for underwater work.
I consider myself a serious amature since I have another job that pays for my photographic persuits
