I'm working as freelancer specializing in site development, including custom coding, design and sites' support. I'm also webmaster and run few online projects.
Photography is my passion for many years, it's my main hobby in free time, I always carry camera with me as you never know what surprises life would bring you in the next moment... and having camera help me memorize such moments.
My hobby was started when I've manage to buy my first digital camera in year 2000, I've go for digital camera from beginning work a lot with PC and using film camera would waste more time for getting them into PC.
Most interesting fields for me are close ups and nature photography. Nature have so much beautiful which sometimes hard to spot because of our mad speed of life and photography could help us see wonders around us.
Most of time I'm using two cameras Minolta Dimage F200 and Konica-Minolta Dimage Z3, hope that one day I'll be able to save some cash to get myself dSLR :)
Although I have experience working with various graphical packages and do custom re-touching works at request I prefer not to alter most of my work. I try to achieve that photograph become a small reflection of the world. So if I do any alteration to the photo it's mostly cropping and getting proper white balance if I failed to get it right during shooting.
So I believe that it's worth to alter good photograph in order to get stronger result and emphasize what you're trying to tell, but if photograph is bad from beginning than retouching of it is probably waste of time which could be better used to thinking why shot doesn't work and how you could get it right next time.
Dream that one day I could earn enough cash to travel around the world and photograph new places.
