| I am primarily a nature photographer, specializing in flowers found in and around my neighborhood. I enjoy the challenge of shooting in a genre that has been "overdone" and in bringing a fresh perspective of one of nature's most beautiful creations to my viewers. I use a Canon EOS 1D MkII with several prime lenses to accomplish this, having decided several years ago that digital wasn't the devil's spawn that I had previously imagined it to be. I have had to learn shutter discipline all over again, however, since one of the temptations of digital is to fire away indiscrimantly. Perhaps some discipline isn't such a bad thing... |
