I spent most of the 80's and early 90's photographing for a wide variety clients in Southern California. In my studio and on location we shot grocery ads, real estate properties, aftermarket automotive parts, exercise equipment, medical supplies, custom windows and electronics parts. Primarily with a 4x5 camera and transparency film. Many of these older images have been scanned and reside in my portfolio.
After about a ten year break and two cross country moves, I found myself back in So. Cal. with Digital Equipment and an outlet for the kinds of images I wanted to make. I now work out of a small studio set up in my garage where I am able to shoot on a daily basis. I enjoy the freedom to make the images I want to make whether it's isolated images or complex set-ups or even heading outside to shoot scenics if the mood strikes me. |
